Problem:
If power is lost to a store’s location how do I open my safe?

Cause:
A local power outage.

Solution:
Simply attach a 9-volt batteries to the back-up cable located in the keypad. After this is done the keypad will power up within a few seconds. Once the keypad is powered up you will be able to open and close the safe door for a period of 1-2 hours.

NOTE: The backup power is used to just get the safe open in the event of a power loss and should not be used as a main source of power.
