If a Time Lock Keypad using encryption becomes inoperable (damage from fire, flood, burglary, etc.), the most efficient way to marry a new Time Lock Keypad to the lock is to attach the new keypad and use the locks Management Reset Code to set the lock to its default values, then follow the encryption code setting and activation instructions. If the locks Management Reset Code is unknown, follow these steps:
1. Attach the new keypad to the lock. Enter the keypad programming mode using the Master Programming Code.
2. Press option 1 for Keypad Setup.
3. Scroll down to Option 6 Recover Lock.
4. Press 6 you will be prompted to enter the old keypads serial number. Follow it by pressing . The keypad will immediately assume the old keypads serial number.
